The payment of the December 2020 pensions by INPS arrives and, as has been happening since April, the payment will be anticipated and staggered based on the first letter of the surname in order to avoid gatherings at the Post Offices which could endanger the health of workers and pensioners, respecting the safety rules established to contain the spread of Covid-19.
The INPS communicates the new calendar which, through a note, specifies that the dates indicated will be valid both for pension treatments and for checks, pensions and accompanying allowances paid to disabled civilians. In all these cases, in fact, the payment "will be anticipated with respect to the normal deadlines and will be spread over several days".
PENSION PAYMENT DECEMBER 2020
The calendar provided by INPS only concerns those who have to collect their pension in cash at their post office. Holders of a BancoPosta current account, a savings book or a PostePay Evolution will instead be able to withdraw the sum in cash at one of the 7 thousand Postamat ATMs starting from Wednesday 25 November.
On the other hand, those who have their pension credited to a current account held at a bank will receive the sum due for the month of December starting from the "first bankable day of next month". Translated: the pension will arrive on Tuesday 1 December.
All the others will instead have to follow the calendar established by INPS and Poste Italiane.

The pension payment calendar for December 2020, valid for those who have to go to the Post Offices, is as follows:
- Wednesday 25/11/2020 surnames starting from A to B
- Thursday 26/11/2020 surnames starting from C to D
- Friday 27/11/2020 surnames starting from E to K
- Saturday 28/11/2020 only in the morning, last names starting from L to O
- Monday 30/11/2020 surnames starting from P to R
- Tuesday 01/12/2020 last names starting from S to Z
