March 2022 pensions are on the way. Payments will start from Wednesday 23 February and, as usual, Poste Italiane will start with holders of savings book, BancoPosta account and Poste Evolution. Those who receive the pension in cash at their post office will instead have to respect a calendar: disbursements will begin on 23 February and will end on 1 March. The aim is, as always, to avoid gatherings at the counters, by ensuring the payments of pensions in safety.
Please note that to access the post offices the basic green pass is required. It is also mandatory to wear a mask, respect the rules of distancing and enter the office only when previous customers leave.
Pensions March 2022: who will receive the credit
From Wednesday 23 February, pensions for March 2022 will be credited to holders of a savings book, a BancoPosta account or a Postepay Evolution. Interested parties, therefore, will only have to withdraw the sum in cash from one of the 8 Postamat ATMs in Italy, without needing to go to the Post Office.
Pensions March 2022: the payment calendar
Those who receive their pension in cash at the post office will instead have to respect an alphabetical shift. The day you receive your pension will depend on the first letter of your surname. Here is the complete calendar:
- surnames from A to B: Wednesday 23 February;
- surnames from C to D: Thursday 24 February;
- surnames from E to K: Friday 25 February;
- surnames from L to O: Saturday morning 26 February;
- surnames from P to R: Monday 28 February;
- surnames from S to Z: Tuesday 1st March.
The proxies
Retirees over the age of 75 have the option of delegating a third party to pick up their pension at the post office. Alternatively, it is possible to ask to receive the pension free of charge at home by delegating the carabinieri.
