The tensions between the government and the majority are felt in Parliament, distancing the center right from the professors and bringing together the former allies of Berlusconi's mandate. The Executive was defeated in the Senate. The PDL voted together with the League and the IDV in favor of an amendment the government decree on bank commissions: 124 for, 94 against and 12 abstentions.
The correction, to which the Executive and the rapporteur had given the opposite opinion, delete an article that contained a provision in favor of the pensions of public managers.
In particular, the repealed law envisaged the integration of a measure arrived with the salva-Italia which imposed a solidarity contribution on the salaries of public managers exceeding 300 euros per year. The canceled article established that the cut was irrelevant for the purposes of calculating the pension for the part calculated with the salary method.
