Pensions, government-union meeting: we're talking about Ape social

Minimum pension, supplementary pension and Ape social. These are some of the themes at the center of thetoday's meeting between the Government and the trade unions, organized to discuss the latest news on pensions introduced by the 2017 Budget law.

After the agreement reached last September, which gave the green light to a series of measures such as Ape, news for the strenuous works, extension of the fourteenth and no tax area, now the unions and the government will meet again to take stock of the situation .

“There is no danger of further interventions on the pension reform, both at this stage and in the future”, explained the Minister of Labour, Giuliano Poletti: “On the other hand, there is the will to continue the dialogue with the trade unions”.

Among the main topics of discussion would be theSocial bee, the pension advance paid entirely by the State for some categories of workers in need. During the meeting, the income limit should be defined to identify the people involved in the measure.

Another subject of debate should be the early temporary supplementary annuity (Rita), which allows you to obtain the benefits of the supplementary pension in advance.

Unions and the government should also discuss early retirement for the so-called early workers, i.e. those with 12 months of contributions linked to actual work, even non-continuous, before turning 19, and for those who have worked strenuous work.
