Pensions, Government: no new levies on high pensions

Yes to pension flexibility and to the bridging loan towards retirement without having to repay it for those who want to anticipate their retirement being in conditions of need and yes to the strengthening of lower pensions in ways to be established: either by increasing the fourteenth beneficiaries up to pensions of one thousand euros" or by completing the process "which equates the no-tax area of pensioners to that of employees". It is the undersecretary to the Prime Minister, Tommaso Nannicini, who sustains it in an interview with Corriere della Sera.

But the most politically sensitive point is another: that the Government realizes that a considerable effort will have to be made to find the resources necessary for the planned pension interventions but that in any case it does not think about levies on higher pensions.

“There won't be – explains Nannicini – any solidarity contribution” paid by the highest pensions.
