It's time to think about pensions. From Wednesday 26 May INPS and Poste Italiane communicated the payment dates of the June 2021 pensions.
As has now been the case for fifteen months now, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the payment of pension benefits has been brought forward and staggered over several days in order to comply with the safety standards and prevent gatherings at the counters. For this month, the advance payment of pensions for June 2021 was established the Civil Protection, through the order number 778 of 18 May 2021 of the Civil Protection to regulate advances. The provision establishes that the social security benefits paid by the ines are processed five days in advance "in order to allow Poste Italiane to manage access to its branches for holders of the right to collect social security benefits in ways compatible with the provisions in force adopted in order to contain and manage the epidemiological emergency from Covid-19". The dates for the next few months have already been set. Payment of pensions for July 2021 will be brought forward to 25 June and that of August 2021 to 27 July.
PENSION PAYMENT JUNE 2021: THE FIRST ACCREDITATIONS
Starting from 26 June, holders of a savings book, a BancoPosta account or a Postepay Evolution will receive the credit of the June 2021 pension directly to your account and they will have the possibility of withdrawing the sum in cash directly from the Postamat ATMs (there are over 7 thousand in Italy), without going to the counter and without having to stand in line.
PENSION PAYMENT JUNE 2021: THE CALENDAR
From May 26th to June 1st instead it will be the turn of those who collect their pension at the relevant post offices. Like every month, Poste Italiane has established a calendar to be respected by following an alphabetical criterion. In detail:
- Wednesday 26 May: surnames from A to B;
- Thursday 27 May: surnames from C to D;
- Friday 28 May: surnames from E to K;
- Saturday (morning only) 29 May: surnames from L to O;
- Monday 31 May: surnames from P to R;
- Tuesday 1st June: surnames from S to Z.
Poste Italiane also recalls “that the citizens of aged 75 or over who receive social security benefits at the Post Offices and who normally collect the pension in cash, can request, by delegating the Carabinieri to collect it, the delivery of the pension at home ", reads the company note.
On the other hand, those who have to go to the post office to receive the payment of the June 2021 pension must comply with traditional safety standards: wear a protective mask, enter the Post Office only when the previous customer exits and keep a distance of at least one meter, both when waiting outside and in rooms open to the public.
