Pensions, by how much they increase with the 2% revaluation envisaged by the Aid bis decree

Pensions have increased since October. It is one of the novelties of the Aiuti bis decree, launched a few days ago by the outgoing government of Mario Draghi, and most awaited by Italians. The objective is in fact to counter the negative effects of inflation for the year 2022 and to support the purchasing power of pension benefits which are increasingly eroded by the race in prices. Two interventions have been implemented: bringing forward the payment of the inflation adjustment to 2022, which is worth 0,2% of the pension amount and which is usually paid at the beginning of 2023, and, from 2022 October XNUMX, the 2% revaluation of pensions below a certain amount, i.e. up to 35 euros gross per year. Once this figure is exceeded, the revaluation does not apply even with the reduction to 75%.

But let's see how much this 2% revaluation financed by the government with almost 2 billion euros in dl Aid bis. We must obviously distinguish on the basis of income brackets. The revaluation percentage is fixed while the pensions are obviously different in their amount. That said the "bonus" will be higher for the higher checks.

How much do the checks increase and when: Uil's calculations

The revaluation expected from January 2023 should be brought forward by three months: checks would thus increase by 2% starting from October XNUMXst; therefore, it will affect the last three months of the year, plus the thirteenth. According to it Uil study, the 2% revaluation would result in a gross increase of 10 euros for every 500 euros of pension, while the advance of the adjustment of 0,2% would yield one euro for every 500.

According to the calculations of the trade union confederation led by Pierpaolo Bombardieri, whoever receives a average pension of 952 euros will have 19,04 euros more in the check for October, November, December and thirteenth. We are obviously talking about a gross figure: 76 euros in all. Who gets one minimum pension of 524 €, on the other hand, will see the check increase by just over 10 euros gross per month, around 42 euros including the thirteenth month. Who has twice the minimum, that is 1.049 €, will have 20,97 and 62,92 more; who has three times the minimum ie 1.573 € by check €31,46 and €94,38 more; who has 4 times more ie 2.097 will have 41,95 and 125,84 more. And finally, those who receive five times the minimum allowance, i.e. of 2.622 € (practically the highest level that falls within the revaluation): here the increase is over 51 euros gross, more than 200 euros in four months.

• INPS;

• management of self-employed workers;
