Pensions: from June unified payment on the first of the month. Here's what changes

Starting from June XNUMXst, all payments of pensions, cheques, pensions and carer's allowances paid to disabled civilians, as well as Inail's life annuities, will be unified and paid on the first day of the month.

Stop deferred payments to the 10th or 16th month, from June all pensions will be paid on the first day of the month. This is the big news introduced by decree law number 65 of 21 May 2015, containing "Urgent provisions on pensions, social safety nets and severance pay guarantees". The operation, desired and announced by INPS President Tito Boeri, will bring advantages not only for pensioners but also for INPS, speeding up the payment operation from an administrative point of view. Furthermore, thanks to an agreement signed by INPS with the banks and the post office, the advance payment of pensions will not involve any additional costs, but rather a reduction in costs thanks to the unification of all pensions on a single date. Here are the two great innovations introduced by decree number 65 of 21 May.

Payment on the first of the month
As of June 2015, retirees can say goodbye to mid-month pension payments. In fact, until May, pension payments fell on the 10th or 16th of the month, the latter affecting, for example, former Inpdap pensioners, i.e. former civil servants.

From June, all pensions will be paid on the first of the month. The novelty will concern social allowances, disabled civilians and those who have suffered accidents at work. In fact, the accompanying allowances will also be paid on the same day, as will the life annuities of Inail.

Unified payment
The second big news in terms of pensions concerns the unification of all pension treatments in a single check. In fact, even the holder of several pensions will obtain a unified payment on the first of the month, among these are, for example, survivor's pensions, carer's allowances, life annuities.
