Motorway tolls, no increases in 2020

The increases in motorway tolls, which are in fact frozen for the whole of 2020, have been postponed. This was established by the Milleproroghe decree, signed a few days ago by the President of the Republic Mattarella, and the Ministry of Transport announced it, specifying that "the increases tariffs envisaged from 1 January 2020 for "95% of the motorway network".

The increases will instead be triggered by the companies CAV 1,20%, Autovia Padana 4,88%, Bre.Be.Mi. 3,79% and Pedemontana Lombarda 0,80%. In addition, “the further freezing of toll increases relating to previous years is confirmed” for concessionaire companies such as Strada dei Parchi, Autostrade per l'Italia and Milano Serravalle.

The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure also points out that "with regard to the Strada dei Parchi concessionaire, the toll increase is further suspended until 31 October 2021" therefore on the A24 and A25 motorways "the toll rates in force at the date of 31 December 2017".
