The research is French, but it could very well also apply to Italy: the stress of a PC that is too slow to start up or to load files and internet pages is not an impression or a whim, but is scientifically proven.
On average, in France, according to the study conducted by SanDisk, it takes up to 11 minutes to successfully start up an office computer or laptop: in a year, this means 120 hours lost waiting, or the beauty of five full days.
But that is not all: 29% of transalpines interviewed by SanDisk even claim to lose sleep over it and over a third of them say they start the day in a bad mood. There is even 16% who, probably exaggerating, declare that they throw the device on the ground or against the wall, with results which, to be honest, appear rather counterproductive.
