Salvini-Orban sovereign pact to undermine Europe

VIDEO - Salvini and Orban lay the foundations in Milan for a great sovereign alliance that aims not only to close the doors to migrants but to break Europe upside down, sending Merkel and Macron into the minority and building bridges to Putin's Russia - Macron takes up the challenge – But who decided that Italy should change sides?

Salvini-Orban sovereign pact to undermine Europe

Other than just a political meeting, in spite of the Five Stars and the cowardly premier Giuseppe Conte. The Milan summit between the Northern League's deputy prime minister Matteo Salvini and the Hungarian sovereign prime minister Viktor Orban drew an alternative strategic line to that of current Europe with the aim of moving it to the right and breaking it down, of launching bridges to Putin's Russia and effectively set aside the reform of the Dublin Treaty on the relocation of migrants against whom instead to use an iron fist by closing the ports of the Mediterranean and repeating the unfortunate scheme of the Diciotti ship 10, 100, 1.000 times. "Europe wants to manage migratory flows, we want to stop them" summed up the Hungarian leader.

But the essence of the meeting in Milan, which will soon be followed by a visit by the Northern League leader to Budapest, goes far beyond the anti-migrant policy and lays the foundations for a great sovereign alliance in view of the next spring European elections where the new political grouping, centered on the Visegrad group and extended to all the right-wingers of the Old Continent, will try to undermine the majority formed by Popular People and socialists and to send Merkel's Germany and Macron's France into a minority. And indeed the French president takes up the challenge: "Orban and Salvini are right: I am their real enemy and they are my enemies"

Salvini comments as follows: "We have started a path for a different Europe to exclude the left and change the Treaties and this is a priority for me and for the Government". Orban echoes him: "The Italian minister is a true hero, he unites us by a common destiny: Salvini demonstrates that the landings can be stopped and he will be able to count on Hungary". For now, as was to be expected, Orban says no to welcoming migrants who land in Italy, but Salvini - whose real goal is the anti-Europe alliance - prefers to ignore it.

With the sovereign meeting in Milan, therefore, a new political season opens up full of clouds and dangers for Europe and above all for Italy, which makes the question put forward only a few days ago by former premier Mario Monti even more topical: but who decided that Italy should change sides, abandoning Europe to get closer to Putin's Russia? Not the Government, not the Parliament and, least of all, the Italian people who perhaps do not yet fully realize what is happening and who risk paying a very high price for the sovereignist aims of Salvini and his associates.

Europe has many flaws and has made many mistakes but it has given us 60 years of peace: do we want to throw them overboard? The tragic example of the former Yugoslavia is too close to close one's eyes.
