The negative economic situation in our country, associated with the strong loss of purchasing power on the part of citizens and a generalized increase in retail prices, will lead families to cut back on purchases of typical Easter products, without however renouncing the classic Easter, which remains a fixed tradition in Italian homes". This was stated by Codacons, which monitored the trend of sales and the propensity to purchase on the part of consumers.

The Italians, however, while making significant cuts in food purchases, will not give up the classic Easter lunch with the family, and the total cost of Easter lunch will be around 1 billion euros”.
