There will be 1,6 million Italians traveling on Trenitalia trains during the Easter holidays, 7% more than in 2015. According to estimates by the FS Italiane Group, a large part of them, including foreign tourists, will travel between the main cities of art, connected by the High Speed network, and along the North-South route. During the Easter period, as every year, the information and customer assistance services in the main stations will be strengthened.
In terms of offers, even on the Easter weekend, Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 March, it will be possible for two to travel by paying for a single ticket thanks to the "Speciale 2×1" promotion, which will in any case be usable until 29 May. The offer can be purchased until midnight two days before train departure and is valid on all national trains in the Business, Premium and Standard service levels and in 24st and 1nd class.
