Partnership between Casinò Campione d'Italia and Gamenet for the opening of new gaming halls

Campione d'Italia casino, the largest gambling house in Europe, e Gamenet SpA, among the leading concessionaires of the State Monopolies (AAMS) for the management of the public network of legal gaming, have signed a strategic alliance for the opening and management, through a Newco, of new gaming halls of high profile.

This is an unprecedented agreement in Italy: it is in fact the first corporate partnership between a casino and a state monopoly concessionaire. The new gaming halls will be at the forefront in terms of games and the quality of the interior spaces (at least 600 new square meters)

La newco it will be owned by Gamenet, with a share of 51% and by Casinò Campione d'Italia with the remaining 49%. The investments planned for the period 2011-2013 are equal to 30 million euros and will be financed by both shareholders in proportion to the shares held in the Newco.

In the context of the establishment of the Newco, Casinò Campione d'Italia will enter the shareholding structure of Gamenet, the current shareholders of Gamenet remaining the reference partners. Gamenet and Casinò Campione d'Italia will also analyze the possibility of jointly developing other industrial initiatives in the online gaming and betting sectors.
