Parmalat announces in a note that it has signed an agreement for the purchase of the Australian company Longwarry Food Park. The transaction, carried out through the subsidiary Parmalat Australia Pty Ltd, will be financed entirely with own resources. L'agreement was initialed on the basis of a enterprise values approximately 45 million euro.

Longwarry is a company operating in the Australian state of Victoria and specializes in the production of powdered, concentrated and UHT milk as well as spreadable cheeses. Longwarry has around 50 employees and closed the last financial year with a turnover of around 60 million euros.
