Parma, Grillo's boomerang on Parmesan and on the incinerator

Federico Pizzarotti was the first of the 5 Star Movement in Italy to have earned the tricolor band of an important center in Parma by promising to block the incinerator but the Tar lit it and the plant will soon be up and running - Grillo then lost his head talking about Parmesan and dioxin ham but Parma turned away from him

Parma, Grillo's boomerang on Parmesan and on the incinerator

Parma becomes a boomerang for Grillo and the 5 Star Movement which had built the entire administrative electoral campaign on the closure of the incinerator. The mayor of Parma, Federico Pizzarotti - the first of the 5 Star Movement in Italy to have won the tricolor band of an important center - had to surrender to the provisions of the TAR: the city's incinerator was turned on Wednesday morning. And now Grillo loses his temper but also loses the sympathy of Parma.

The Regional Administrative Court therefore has put an end to a long tug of war between institutions and administrations. The Mayor of Parma defended himself by saying that he had done everything in his power to him. "Our commitment remains - Pizzarotti said - We are moving forward with the separate waste collection project, in 2014 we will have the whole city without bins". In a letter addressed to citizens, Mayor grillino wrote: “Find out who wanted it, who chose to spend more than 200 million for its creation; on who will lead him to be targeted by the waste of the other provinces of Emilia; about those who yesterday rubbed their hands over its construction and today deny it. And then on who opposed it and who tried to stop it, with the weapons of the law and with thoughts turned to our future ".

The sentence of the Tar sanctioned the clear victory of the construction company Iren. The appeal presented by Iren Ambiente was accepted against the provision of the Municipality of Parma, which declared its incompetence to receive the request for the release of the certificate of usability presented by the Company for the Integrated Environmental Center of Parma (Pai).

The incinerator is located in Uguzzolo, not far from the Barilla plant (in Pedrignano) and, after being put back into operation, awaits full operation.

But it was Beppe Grillo who added fuel to the fire who did not digest the defeat in Parma on his blog and increased the dose by talking about Parmesan and ham with dioxin. Open up heaven. All Parma producers are in revolt and thunder against the rash statements of the MS5 leader. For Grillo Parma becomes bitter.
