Paris: Book Fair postponed to 2021

The Paris book fair "Livre Paris" scheduled from 20 to 23 March 2020 will not take place. The event is known for being advertised around a red thread anchored to the latest literary and editorial news to resonate strong and committed voices that question the present and try to write the world of tomorrow. An international exhibition that for years has highlighted the presence of authors invited by our international partners, integrating them into the programming of each scene and which celebrates the main foreign authors.

Here is the note sent by Vincent Montagne, President of Livre Paris:

"Following government decisions to ban gatherings of more than 5.000 people in confined spaces, we have sadly decided to cancel the 2020 edition of Livre Paris. I would like to thank the many personalities who have expressed their wish on social media in recent days for Livre Paris to open its doors normally. But our sense of responsibility obliges us not to take any risk with the health of all who make Livre Paris successful: exhibiting publishers, authors, speakers, partners from over 50 countries and, of course, our family audience of over 160.000 visitors every year.

Livre Paris gives you an appointment in 2021 with new promises and new discoveries around books and reading."
