Le parapharmacies will be able to expand the range of their services. It is established by theCompetition and Market Authority, consulted by the National Federation of Italian parapharmacies regarding the provision of booking services for specialist medical visits (Cup) and collection of medical reports.
According to the Authority, excluding parapharmacies from the recognized possibility for pharmacies to offer this kind of service is detrimental to the rules and principles for the protection of competition. The services under discussion are those not covered by the law.
Celebrate the National Federation of Italian Parapharmacies: "The Fnpi has obtained a favorable opinion from the antitrust: it is a great result", commented the president of the association David Gullotta. “Differences in treatment cannot be made between pharmacies and parapharmacies – continued Gullotta-. Now we will ensure that this provision, already sent by the antitrust to the regions and to the state-regions conference, is implemented as soon as possible ".
