Tax havens, Ecofin removes 8 states from the blacklist

Ecofin has removed eight countries from the 'black list' of non-EU jurisdictions that do not comply with international tax transparency standards. It's about Barbados, Grenada, South Korea, Macao, Mongolia, Panama, Tunisia and the United Arab Emirates. These jurisdictions will move to the gray list: those who are part of them are subject to EU control as regards their commitments to comply with international standards.

Thus only nine jurisdictions remain on the blacklist. These are Samoa, Bahrain, Guam, the Marshall Islands, Namibia, Palau, Saint Lucia, Samoa and Trinidad and Tobago.
