Panasonic promises… “wonders”
Panasonic will have a new key phrase, or catchphrase, if you prefer, “Wonders! by Panasonic”. The Japanese electronics giant has announced that the time is ripe to launch a phrase-symbol that will bring a boost of energy to the company. Waving it like a banner, the group's management should lead an army of unmotivated employees out of the shallows of stagnation that has hit the company in the last two years. But even more is expected. The choice of words is not random and that "Wonders!" wants to allude to the wonders that Panasonic will pull out of the hat to amaze consumers. Before using the key phrase in media spots and billboards, Panasonic successfully tested it in Germany, at IFA (Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin) 2013, one of the world's leading trade fairs for consumer electronics. . Alongside the key phrase, there will also be a new brand slogan: "A better life, a better world", which replaces the previous "Ideas for life". The company explained that "a better life" refers to B2C (business to consumers) marketing, declined in various areas: domestic, social, work, travel, cars, business; "a better world", on the other hand, alludes to the dimension of B2B (business to business) marketing, focused on the theme of environmental protection. The Osaka group has also declared that it will focus primarily on the domestic market, which absorbs more than half of the sales of the Panasonic brand. The new products, resulting from the “Wonders!” will be available on the market from April.
