PagoPA: the digital revenue stamp is purchased with paper

Paying for Public Administration services online becomes even easier and open to all. From today, the InfoCamere Payment Institute through pagoPA - the technological platform provided by AgID - enables payments to the PA using credit/debit cards.

As the first Payment Service Provider (PSP) enabled for the @e.bollo service (developed by the Revenue Agency with the collaboration of the Agency for Digital Italy), the InfoCamere Payment Institute (www.iconto.infocamere .it) allows all citizens, with just a few clicks, to make payments to the PA, including the digital revenue stamp. The service – which makes it possible to pay the tax electronically – is already available for some of the more than 3.500 municipalities that make use of the SUAP platform of the Chambers of Commerce and it is expected to be extended to a further 750 municipalities accredited to the PagoPA service. The InfoCamere Payment Institute is available to support PAs that want to integrate the @e.bollo service into their portals.

The services managed by the Italian Chamber of Commerce system will also benefit from the introduction of credit/debit card payments with the www.impresainungiorno.gov.it portal (One-Stop Shop for Productive Activities and AGCOM's Register of Communication Operators) and the portal https://dirittoannuale.camcom. it for the payment of the annual fee to the Chambers of Commerce.

"InfoCamere has made digitization its mission, with the aim of concretely contributing to creating a faster and more efficient dialogue between companies and the Public Administration" said the General Manager, Paolo Ghezzi. "The issue of electronic payments today is crucial for intercepting business development needs and offering companies, especially the smallest ones, cutting-edge tools to reduce their competitiveness and reach new markets."

By virtue of the results achieved in the field of e-payment, InfoCamere recently received the E-government Award at the third edition of the Digital & Payment Summit. The event - promoted by the Italian Association of Payment and Electronic Money Institutes - brings together every year the protagonists of the digital panorama in Italy from the Internet of Things to mobile business, from mobile payment to big data analytics, via eCommerce, social lending and solutions for the PA.

The award was given to InfoCamere for the innovations introduced in the payment processes in favor of the Chamber System and the Public Administration which began in 2003 with the telematicsisation of the Business Register and culminated in 2013 with the establishment of its own Payment Institute.
