Report cards of the advances: a good Milan but the referee and the post stop him in Florence

ADVANCE REPORT CARDS – The referee Mazzoleni and the post stop Milan in Florence where the hand of Delio Rossi begins to be felt – Allegri bitter: “We had scored a goal….”

And in the sixth game Milan stopped. After 5 consecutive victories, Allegri's men slowed down while leaders Lazio were blocked by Mazzarri's Napoli. However, speaking of a misstep by Milan would be risky, both for the good performance offered (although perhaps a pinch of more malice was missing) and for the refereeing decisions, this time decidedly unfavorable. It was understood immediately that referee Mazzoleni's evening would be difficult, but he certainly didn't imagine seeing such a performance. The referee got it all wrong, but the mistake that weighed the most occurred in the first half when a linesman annulled a very regular goal by Seedorf for presumed but non-existent offside. In the second half, Milan were killed again due to a (clear) hold by Nastasic on Pato in the penalty area, but the referee let them continue.

After the refereeing chapter (score 4), we must congratulate Delio Rossi, capable of fielding a humble and working-class Fiorentina, but able to hold back the Italian champions a bit. Milan deserved to win, but the Viola certainly didn't make things any easier. Now the Rossoneri will be able to concentrate on Barcelona, starting from the good performance of Franchi, also underlined by Massimiliano Allegri: "The team played a good game, we had a regular goal disallowed, but the referee saw it like this and it's fine, even if of course you're sorry. We did everything we could to win, we just lacked the goal."
