Olivetti, a company specialized in the implementation of solutions “Internet of Things” (IoT), which operates within the framework of TIM Enterprise, and Nexi, the first European group in the payment systems sector, have announced the start of a collaboration in the technological and commercial fields.
The partnership will make it possible to enhance the complementarity between retail payments and cash systems with the aim of accelerating the diffusion of electronic payments. Thanks to the new solutions, merchants will be able to subscribe to a single offer to acquire a advanced cash register and a digital payment service, as well as improving the daily management of the business by benefiting from an integrated service capable of offering a safe and fast shopping experience.
Olivetti holds a significant share of the Italian cash register market and, with a complete range of digital payment solutions, thanks to agreements with the main Fintech companies, is consolidating its role as Digital Payment Providers of the TIM Group.
A commercial collaboration is also envisaged for the dissemination of Nexi solutions through the Olivetti sales network, which has over 300 business partners including dealers and distributors and a widespread presence throughout the national territory.
