"We're working on it". With these words, the Minister of the Economy, Pier Carlo Padoan, replied to those who asked him about the hypothesis of creating a bad bank for bank non-performing loans.
The minister, questioned at a conference of Italian Europeans, however specified that the method of managing non-performing loans "can take various forms which we are evaluating".
As for Greece, "it is inappropriate to talk about leaving the Euro: the Eurogroup is a place for sharing and searching for a solution to put Greece back on a path of sustainable growth compatible with its financial commitments".
