Privatizations continue. To say it is the Minister of Economy Pier Carlo Padoan, host of Radio1: "Privatisations are an important program that will last a few years: we intend to continue and intensify it". According to the Economy Minister, this program will have a strong beneficial effect on debt reduction.
As far as public accounts are concerned, Padoan assures that "the process of fiscal consolidation is much further along than in many other countries: the public finance situation of our country, also given the large primary surplus, is solid".
