It's now a strike: the championship doesn't start but the transfer market is full of surprises

Lega-players: wall against wall – Inter have Forlan in their pocket and are aiming for Zarate and Kucka – Juve: taken two wingers in one day, in view of a mega-exchange with Zenit and dream of Malouda – Milan: Aquilani arrives but always thinks of Kakà – Rome: Osvaldo yes, Gago perhaps, while Borriello likes Leonardo

NOW IT'S OFFICIAL: THE CHAMPIONSHIP DOESN'T START!
THE FIRST DAY SLIDE TO DECEMBER 21?
THE NEGOTIATIONS CONTINUE TO "SAVE" AT LEAST THE 2ND DAY.

The Federal Council failed in the miracle of averting the players' strike. And so, this weekend there will be no games, to the anger of all the fans who, once again, confirm themselves as victims of a deeply wrong system. Giancarlo Abete tried until the end, but Lega Calcio and Aic were too distant to find an agreement in just one day. Therefore, the final attempt by the number one of the FIGC was useless, who at 14.50 pm had made an attractive proposal (?) to the presidents of the clubs: "I gave the League a willingness to grant a fund of up to 20 million euros in the three-year period 2011-13, to be used when disputes arise regarding the solidarity contribution, which certify a greater burden on the company. Now we await a response from Beretta". Which arrived shortly after, cold and sharp as a blade: “Our position does not change, there is no room for negotiation. The Aic will take a big responsibility by choosing not to play”. So for the League, the blame lies entirely with the players' union, an accusation that Damiano Tommasi rejected harshly: "What happened is clear, someone didn't want us to play". It was supposed to be a strike and it will be a strike, a stance that seems almost obvious to the parties, while it remains completely incomprehensible to the fans. In fact, the main reason for the discord (Article 7 on the "Fuori rosa") seems absolutely resolvable, but evidently common sense is not part of this affair. The other issue then (the one on the "Solidarity contribution") is rather nebulous: the clubs want to make it retroactive even on contracts already stipulated net, which, beyond the clichés about millionaire footballers, appears at least questionable. Of course, the position of the companies also needs to be understood, as they do not want to incur additional costs. In short, a bureaucratic pap that people care little or nothing about. So, after so much talk that we would have gladly done without, let's try to talk about football (as much as possible). The first day will be postponed to the first free date, which is currently Wednesday 21 December. The championship will therefore begin on Saturday 10 September, directly from the second day, provided that the presidents and players manage to sign this blessed collective agreement. Common sense will be needed, exactly what was missing this time. Because the patience of the fans, however great, has a limit.

INTER: IT'S MADE FOR FORLAN!
NOW THE GOALS ARE ZARATE AND KUCKA.
FROM ENGLAND THEY INSIST: WENGER AND FERGUSON WANT SNEIJDER.

Diego Forlan is to all intents and purposes considered an Inter player. In fact, after 3 days of negotiations, the agreement with the Uruguayan was reached yesterday. With Atletico Madrid everything had already been in order for a few days (5 million for the card, including bonuses), while with the player there were some problems regarding his salary. Indeed, Branca had offered Forlan a two-year contract at 3 million a season, too little for the forward, who remaining in Madrid would have received 4,5 million a year, above all until 2014. The agreement, as often happens, is been found halfway: Inter increased the offer up to 4 million, the player gave up a year of his contract.
With the negotiation for Forlan closed, the Nerazzurri must now complete the squad with the last remaining shots. Gasperini would still like a striker, especially a winger. The hot name is that of Zarate, for which Lotito is asking for 20 million. Inter can't pay the whole amount right away, but the loan formula with an obligation to buy in 12 months could convince the volcanic Lazio president. Then there is the Kucka question, with the Nerazzurri insisting with Genoa for having suffered the Slovakian midfielder. At the moment Preziosi is resisting, but a certain optimism is spreading in Corso Vittorio Emanuele.

In closing, it should be noted the rumors arriving from England, which would see Arsenal and Manchester United still interested in Wesley Sneijder. In particular, it would be the Gunners, who have just sold Nasri to Manchester City, who want to bet decisively on the Dutchman. But after the sale of Eto'o, imagining Moratti also depriving us of Sneijder seems too much.

JUVE: ALSO TAKEN ESTIGARRIBIA.
THE INTEREST IN ELIA AND PEROTTI REMAINS ALIVE, BUT THE DREAM IS MALOUDA.
DISPOSAL CHAPTER: THE MAXI TOWARDS CLOSING – DEAL WITH ZENIT.

Marcelo Alejandro Estigarribia is a Juventus player. The Paraguayan arrived in Turin yesterday, where he underwent medical checks. The bianconeri have reached an agreement with Cerro Porteno on the basis of an onerous loan (400 euros) with the right to buy set at 5 million. Important day also for Giaccarini, who signed the contract with the Old Lady. For half of the price, the bianconeri will pay Cesena 3 million, payable over the next 3 years.
But the exteriors won't end there. Marotta wants to give Conte one of great quality: the names are always those of Perotti and Elia, even if the negotiations with Seville and Hamburg seem to be proceeding slowly. The dream, however, is called Florent Malouda. Conte likes the Chelsea winger very much, Villas Boas a little less, that's why Juve want to try to get him away from London. The problem, however, is always the same: the price. Chelsea value the Frenchman at 8 million, an affordable figure, but the problem is his salary: in fact, Malouda still has a 2-year contract at 5 million a season, a figure that only Gigi Buffon receives at Juventus. Help for Juve could come from St. Petersburg. Zenit wants Bonucci and Pepe, and is ready to offer defender Bruno Alves plus 8 million. The problem is represented by Pepe's will, who doesn't seem enthusiastic about the idea of moving to Russia. If the former Udinese were to refuse, the operation would still take place, with Bonucci and Bruno Alves who would be exchanged on equal terms.

Aquilani: "Milan is the turning point in my career"
CASE OF KAKA': GALLIANI IS WAITING FOR SIGNALS FROM MADRID.
BUT THE ARSENAL IS ALSO ON THE BRAZILIAN.

Alberto Aquilani wasted no time. As soon as he arrived in Milan, the former Liverpool player has already made his first statements as a Rossoneri: "Arriving here represents a turning point for my career" said Aquilani, who then spoke of the difficult task that awaits him: replacing Andrea Pirlo: "I have different characteristics than him, but certainly taking on his legacy represents a great responsibility for me".

On the other hand, there is no news on the Kakà front, with Galliani continuing to work undercover to bring the Brazilian back to Milan. At the moment it is difficult to hypothesize whether or not the Rossoneri CEO will be able to conclude the operation, but what is certain is that we will hear about this story until 31 August. Meanwhile, Arsenal have also asked for information on Kakà, but the feeling is that Ricardo has already made his choice. Everything now depends on Florentino Perez, who should agree to sell the player at a really discounted price. Otherwise, Kakà's return to Milan will remain only a dream.

OSVALDO: “I CHOSEN ROMA BECAUSE THEY'RE A GREAT TEAM”.
SABATINI WANTS PALACIO, BORRIELLO TO GO TO GENOA?
FIORENTINA BLOCKS MONTOLIVO, ROMA THINKS OF GAGO.

First Roman declarations also for Osvaldo: "I chose Roma because they are a great team – said the former Espanyol – for me it will be an honor to play with Totti". Immediately after these (few) words, Osvaldo underwent medical examinations, then signed a four-year contract with Thomas DiBenedetto's club. The total cost of the operation is 15 million, while the player will receive an increasing salary: starting from 3,6 million (gross) for the first year, and ending with 4,47 million (again gross) for 2015 .

But the Roma market didn't end there. In addition to Kjaer, who arrived in Italy last night and is ready to sign as soon as possible (perhaps already today), Sabatini wants to give Luis Enrique a winger. At the moment, the Giallorossi sports director is trying to set up an operation with Genoa, which foresees Palacio in the capital and Borriello under the Lanterna. The deal is difficult but not impossible, even if at the moment the Roma striker doesn't seem enthusiastic about returning to Genoa. It should not be excluded that Miguel Veloso may also enter the operation, given the difficulties in getting to Montolivo. In fact, yesterday, Pantaleo Corvino reiterated that the Viola midfielder will not leave Florence to go to another Italian team: "He has thrown us off balance by not signing the contract renewal - admitted the Fiorentina director - but I reiterate that the player will only be sold to abroad, otherwise he will stay with us for another year”. Therefore, total closure, that's why Roma decided to try to sign Fernando Gago of Real Madrid. The Argentine does not find space in Josè Mourinho's chessboard, and the Giallorossi want to try to relaunch him. The negotiation is not easy, because the Spaniards are asking for 8 million, while Sabatini would like to borrow him with the right to buy.
