Oracle buys Micros System for $5,3 billion

Oracle's acquisition of Micros Systems is now done. This was announced by the Californian software giant itself, which is trying to boost its growth in this way, with an operation worth 5,3 billion dollars. In fact, shareholders of Micros, a company that produces software for hotels and restaurants, will receive $68 in cash per share, with a premium of 3,4% on last Friday's closing price.

For Oracle this is the largest acquisition since the acquisition of Sun Microsystems in 2009 for 5,6 billion dollars.
