Opificio Golinelli, inauguration in Bologna next Saturday
The future is now: on Saturday 3 October the Opificio Golinelli opens its doors, a citadel of knowledge and culture dedicated to children, teenagers and teachers, the latest creature from the prolific mind of a 95-year-old young man, Marino Golinelli, entrepreneur and tireless benefactor .

The ribbon cutting and the guided tour are at 18,30 pm in via Paolo Nanni Costa in Bologna, adjacent to an industrial area of about 3 hectares occupied until 2008 by the Sabiem Foundry Company. The construction of the structure is the result of a total investment of 12 million euros, for 9 thousand square metres, with 150.000 visits expected each year. The project is among the winners of the 2015 Urban Planning Award, in the "Quality of infrastructures and public spaces" category and will be awarded at Urbanpromo, from 17 to 20 November at the Milan Triennale, as well as published in the "Urbanistica" magazine.

The program for the opening day is top secret until the day after tomorrow, but the real surprises will come on Saturday when Marino, president of the Golinelli Foundation, and Antonio Danieli, general manager, will talk about what they still have in mind to give young people opportunities, projecting them into the world of the next 50 years. In fact, the Opificio is a 4-dimensional place: spaces and projects are offered, but with the aim of inserting everything into the variable of time.

Some special effects will be guaranteed by Apparati Effimeri, with a 3D Mapping after the visit and the customary greetings. For the true recipients of the initiative, the party begins on Sunday 4 October. From 15 to 19 pm, workshops, games, presentations and videos are on the agenda in the six areas of the Opificio: School of ideas; Science in practice; Enterprise garden; Science in the square; Educate to educate; Art, science and knowledge.

They range from a scientific treasure hunt (by reservation) to stories in images, from the use of 3D printers to video exhibitions. The festival always ends on Sunday at 19,30 with a concert by the Papageno Quintet open to anyone. The ensemble was born as a quintet of ?ati and boasts professional experience in the major European orchestras.
