Open Gate ItalyIn partnership with Lumsa Master School, presented today, Monday 11 January, a new Masters in "Institutional Relations and Market Regulation". The presentation took place online, due to the restrictions due to the Covid pandemic, in the presence of authoritative exponents of regulation and Public Affairs.

The Master will for the first time relate the legal-procedural issues of interest representation and decision-making with the technical and economic issues of market regulation. Topics on which professionals and industry experts will make their know-how and experience available to students to provide the practical and technical notions necessary to effectively interact on dossiers and decision-making processes both for those who want to work in a corporate reality, but also for those who want to face a career in institutions.

Il 2nd level university master's degree it will give young graduates the opportunity to test themselves in a work experience at one of the partner realities and will allow professionals, who already have a career path behind them, to explore specific topics of interest in a concrete way and broaden their skills. 

Partner companies and institutions actively participated in the construction of the educational program. Furthermore, during the course, thanks to the participation of the numerous partners, the students will be able to confront themselves with the world of work, get to know different contexts and evaluate their future career paths based on their own objectives. 

Laura Rovizzi, CEO of Open Gate Italia and deputy director of the Master, declared that “Multidisciplinarity is a fundamental value, as are skills and contents. The roles of Regulatory Manager and Public Relations Manager are very complex and today we professionals feel the need to make our indispensable skills available to younger people to make their way in a world that is changing ever faster."

Professor Antonio Nicita, co-director of the Master and former Agcom commissioner, recalled that "Never as in this historic moment, with the advent of digitization, is it essential to train Regulatory Managers capable of putting together content from completely different sectors." 

Even the lawyer Francis Posteraro, former Agcom commissioner, confirmed that “The challenge of the future will be the regulation of the internet and we, not only must we be ready, but we must provide the professionals of tomorrow with all the contents to be able to operate at their best in a constantly evolving society. ”
