Open Fiber has obtained the Certification of the management system for Gender equality according to UNI/PdR 125:2022. This was announced by the company itself, underlining that the award was given for "the attention to people and the enhancement of their uniqueness".
Open Fiber promoted on diversity, equity and inclusion policies
The certification, issued after an analysis of the policies that the company has adopted for gender equality in the context of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I), comes right after ESG certification (Environmental, Social, Governance) and certification according to it ISO 50001 standards, "confirming the importance of the path undertaken on DE&I issues and the commitment of Open Fiber in the areas relating to sustainability and the management of environmental, social and governance aspects", underlines the company which confirms its intention to continue to act to create a collaborative and inclusive work environment in which interpersonal relationships based on the principles of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion are fostered.
Among the various initiatives undertaken in the recent past OpenFiber includes the company Welfare program, which aims to support people in the management of work-life balance; support for projects to promote equal opportunities; awareness raising and training events on the relevance of an inclusive culture and the new Fiber Working agreement. Some of these initiatives are part of the wider "Unique in connecting" program, aimed at supporting an inclusive and open-minded culture and work environment, where excellence is the result of the precious complementarities of people.
