Open Fiber continues its digital revolution in Marche. After Ancona, Fabriano, Macerata, Ascoli Piceno and Pesaro, Open Fiber's ultra-fast fiber is now available in homes and businesses in Senigallia and Civitanova Marche. Thanks to the works, already started months ago, the citizens of the two municipalities will be able to access one FTTH network (Fiber To The Home), the only one capable of enabling and guaranteeing all the latest generation digital services and reaching a connection speed of up to 10 Gigabits per second.
This ultra-fast connection will bring numerous advantages, especially for people who work in smart working, for teleworking, video surveillance, online streaming and digital public administration services.
The fiber company - 60% controlled by Cdp - has invested over 47 million euros in the main cities of the Marche region and at the moment more than 100 real estate units are connected to which two important production and tourist centers are now added: Civitanova with 5.500 real estate units and Senigallia with 3 thousand. Furthermore, Open Fiber is investing 10 million euros in the two cities and at the end of the project there will be almost 35 families who will be able to benefit from an ultra-fast connection.
