Open Fiber in Sweden with Mattarella hunting for business

Open Fiber goes to Sweden to hunt for new business. The company delegation (composed of Simone Bonnini, Marketing and Commercial Director, e Dominic Angotti, Head of Network Engineering), took the opportunity to illustrate the company project to the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella, who had arrived in Sweden for an institutional trip.

President Mattarella, during the statements made to the press in Stockholm, underlined how it is necessary that: "the collaboration between our countries develops further in the sector of technological advancement, of the advanced application of the new resources that science also allows to entrepreneurial activity".

Open Fiber has received the wishes of the President and acts as a facilitator of dialogue in the technological field between the two countries in line with the Memorandum of Understanding ("MoU") signed on February 28, 2018 in which the terms and conditions for starting a strategic industrial partnership with Business Sweden. The Swedish public-private organization was created with the aim of sharing experiences and best practices in the FTTH sector, seizing global opportunities to achieve the goals set by the Digital Agendas in the two countries and giving continuity to the digital transformation project.
