Intesa Sanpaolo is betting strongly on open banking and is launching XME Banks, the financial aggregator that allows you to connect the accounts and cards of any bank within the site and your own mobile app. It will therefore no longer be necessary to switch from one application to another, or access the Internet sites of various banks, to view the balances and movements of your current accounts or credit cards. With XME Banks, Intesa Sanpaolo's Retail and Private customers will be able to manage all their banking relationships - even those with other banks - by simply logging into the Intesa Sanpaolo app, or in Home Banking, to check availability, monitor spending categories and manage your finances.
To date, XME Banks allows access to 20 banks and aims to connect over 100 by the end of the year. In the coming months, with XME Banks it will also be possible to make transfers from any connected bank and request financing. The Intesa Sanpaolo Group, thanks to the investments made for the development of Open Banking and the PSD2 regulation which guarantees its high security standards, thus intends to increasingly place the customer at the center of its strategy, who will be able to manage all their banking relationships on Intesa Sanpaolo channels quickly and efficiently and in total security.
“XME Banks – commented Massimo Tessitore, Head of Digital Business Partner Banca dei Territori, Private Banking, Products and Digital Retail Channels of Intesa Sanpaolo – combines simplicity, convenience and security, offering a unique experience in Italy. In fact, it will be possible to manage them through the Intesa Sanpaolo mobile app or Home Banking all bank accounts and credit cards of which you are a customer. We conceived, designed and built XME Banks to satisfy the most demanding customer segment, providing an advanced service and a truly innovative "user experience".
