In its monthly estimates, released today in Vienna, the OPEC, the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries, says that global oil demand, as forecast a month ago, will grow by 900 barrels per day.
The considerable uncertainty that this year envelops the oil market and the slow increase in consumption, reads the press release, was produced by the slowdown in economic growth in OECD area countries, and especially given the recent improvements in the US economy, from the difficult and still unresolved European debt situation.
