RCS, the Lazio Regional Administrative Court rejects Diego Della Valle's requests and agrees with Consob on the takeover bid launched by Urbano Cairo. With three separate orders (5015, 5014, 5013/2016), the administrative court rejected the precautionary request proposed by Diego della Valle, Media Holding and Pirelli for the annulment, after suspension of effectiveness, of the press release dated last July 22 with which Consob did not consider the conditions exist for the precautionary suspension of the Cairo offer on RCS.
The Court, however, "given the relevance of the matter", also in the light of the "investigations that Consob is still carrying out", and which the supervisory authority will have to account for by filing a specific report, decided to fix the hearing of discussion of the merits next 5 December.
