Intesa Sanpaolo could work together with JP Morgan to finance theChemChina takeover bid on Pirelli. This was announced by the managing director of the Italian Bank, Charles Messina, on the sidelines of the presentation of the Intesa Sanpaolo pavilion at the Expo.
"We could have roles of financial support during the takeover bid - he said -, but we will see this in the coming weeks".
To date, JP Morgan is the leader of the loan, which is worth over 7 billion euros.
