The scenic Lungomare di Vietri, in the enchanting town of the Amalfi Coast, will be transformed on 9 April into an extraordinary open air restaurant. One hundred chefs from the historic Unione Ristoranti del Buon Ricordi association will host a mega dinner for 1000 people to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the foundation of the Association. Vietri's choice is not random. In fact, the historic headquarters is located in the city Ceramica Solimene, which has been producing the famous Buon Ricordi dishes since 1964 which are offered free of charge to those who choose the restaurant's signature dish.
You will be able to participate in the dinner - by reservation only while seats last - which will be accompanied by all courses from the perlage of fine Franciacorta. As per tradition, diners will receive, in souvenir of an evening event, the 60th anniversary plate hand-painted by the artisans of Solimene, created in a special dated and numbered edition and distributed only on this occasion, to underline its historicity and uniqueness. The dinner will have an absolutely beneficial purpose, given that the proceeds (excluding out-of-pocket expenses) will be donated to two local associations (L'Abbraccio OdV and OPEN – Pediatric Oncology and Neuroblastoma Onlus) and the chefs and restaurateurs will provide their work free of charge.

The event - which enjoys the patronage of the Campania Region, the Province of Salerno, the Municipality of Vietri sul Mare, the Amalfi Coast Tourist District and is carried out with the contribution of the Chamber of Commerce and the CNA of Salerno and the support of the Restaurateurs Association and of the Pro Loco of Vietri – will start at 18pm with accreditations, followed by a rich tasting of regional products by the Buon Ricordi members, who will come together regionally to give visibility to the unique flavors of their territory: location will be the elegant Corso Umberto I, with the various stations set up near the commercial activities, also taking advantage of the beautiful entrance halls found along the street. From Culatello di Zibello to Bresaola and Bitto della Valtellina, from Olives to Ascolana to Cruschi Peppers, from Raspadüra to Cremonese and Varzì Salami, from Pecorini to Erbazzone, from Battuta di Fassona to pepper petal rolls filled with cream of Castelmagno, dozens of delicacies accompanied by the best regional wines will make for an unforgettable food and wine tour of Italy.

Protected by a 1.000 mXNUMX transparent tensile structure, with round tables for 10 people, will be prepared by 100 chefs from Buon Ricordi, which will contribute in various ways to the creation of an exemplary menu, capable of evoking the most representative typicality of Italian cuisine. The menu will be divided into 4 courses with recipes from Northern, Central and Southern Italy. The entire dinner will be paired with different types of Franciacorta, which will enhance every single dish.

The dessert will be made by the Academy of Masters of Mother Yeast and Italian Panettone. The conclusion of the evening, with a cafeteria, high Vietri pastry shop, great leavened products, liqueurs and berry infusions, will be framed by the panoramic Terrace of the Rose of the Winds.
