Design and beauty of Made in Italy were at the center of the Olivetti Design Talks debate at Expo Dubai 2020 on Monday 8 November. Olivetti has its own design story to tell, a red thread linking the past – that of the legendary Letter 32 – with the present that sees it at the head of the digital factory and IoT solutions of the Tim group. Tim is present at Expo Dubai as an official platinum sponsor and is there to introduce his leading companies for innovation and digitization. We are talking about Olivetti but also Sparkle, Telsy and Noovle, each in its own area.
The meeting in Dubai was an opportunity to present SINTESI, “the first smart workstation for the home and office” explains a note from Tim which was developed together with Tecno and won the Innovation Award at SMAU “ interpreting the work environment in the most current ways and anticipating future needs thanks to an ergonomic seat, a super-equipped workstation and the app that manages the entire "ecosystem" created by IO.T Solutions".
During the debates at Expo Dubai Cajetan of Tondo, Director of Communications and External Relations of Olivetti and President of the Olivetti Historical Archive Association, underlined how “Beauty unites people and makes communities more livable also through new sustainable and inclusive digitization paths. Olivetti's evolution continues in the name of excellence by combining design, technology and the centrality of the person, in line with its history, enhanced every day with digital and innovative methods by the Association”.
