Olivetti announces the launch of a new electronic invoicing solution that allows Italian companies to comply now with the regulations which require Public Administrations to accept and pay only electronic invoices. This obligation will take effect from 6 June 2014 for ministries, tax agencies and social security institutions, and subsequently for the remaining PAs
The service is among the first available in cloud mode on the Italian market and will allow companies to quickly switch to the new digitized systems without having to equip themselves with dedicated IT resources and skills, thus benefiting from an immediate reduction in costs thanks also to the adoption of the pay-per-use model.
The solution makes use of the assets and skills developed by Olivetti in the field of dematerialization: based on the HDO platform - Olivetti Documentary Hub, it combines the transformation of tax documents into electronic invoices with the substitutive conservation service and sending via e-mail, the PEC or through the Exchange System of the Revenue Agency.
The new electronic invoicing platform also provides for the provision of a management dashboard that allows you to have a complete picture of the issue of your invoices in real time and, for each one, to view its status (accepted, digitally signed, sent to the recipient or acquired in the electronic storage system). It is offered with a standard configuration that can be integrated with company processes but also with the possibility of customization based on the company's needs.
The Olivetti solution is aimed at both private companies and public administrations: in the first case it takes charge of the billing documents as issued by the management system or by the company ERP, transforming them into electronic invoices with a treatment compliant with the legislation, both as regards billing to companies and to the Public Administration. In the second case, it takes charge of the electronic invoices from the Revenue Agency's Exchange System to store them in accordance with the law and deliver them to the Public Administrations in the format they are currently able to manage, allowing them to be ready for the upcoming deadlines provided without having to resort to costly interventions on your systems. In particular, the requirements relating to the certification of the date, authenticity of the origin and integrity of the content are guaranteed, in the Olivetti solution, in compliance with the provisions of the law, by affixing the time reference and digital signature to each invoice. In accordance with the law, the "legibility of the invoice" is also guaranteed after some time and regardless of the original format in which it was issued and stored.
Offered as part of the HDO suite through the direct channel and Olivetti dealers, as well as by the Telecom Italia commercial network, the new service will also be made available as part of the cloud solutions offer of Telecom Italia's Nuvola Italiana.
