Rio Olympics, another silver comes from shooting

Italy conquers the tenth medal in Rio 2016: it is the fifth silver and it comes again from clay pigeon shooting. After the second place conquered by Giovanni Pellielo in the trap, it was the turn of Marco Innocenti in the double trap. The gold was won by the Kuwaiti athlete Fehaid Aldeehani, who however competes here in Brazil under the banner of the independent Olympic Athletes following the disqualification of his country's federation, decided by the IOC.

For Aldeehani it is the third medal at the Games, the first gold, and he is still the only Kuwaiti athlete to have won medals at the Olympics. Instead, it was the first participation and therefore the first medal for Innocenti, the 37-year-old from Prato who reached the final for the gold medal starting from the fifth qualifying score for the semifinal.

For the Italian delegation, therefore, the round figure arrives: 10 medals of which at the moment three are gold, five silver and two bronze.
