The total amount of government bonds placed (maturing in 2015, 2018 and 2023) was 5,03 billion euro – Good demand, all yields are down: the ten-year bond falls below 5%.

Good results for the auction of the Spanish Bonos. Madrid has, in fact, today placed three medium-long term bonds for an amount total of 5,03 billion, just beyond the maximum level of the supply spread, set at between 4 and 5 billion, with declining yields.

For the 2015 maturity, 569 million bonds were placed with yields down from 2,713% to 2,632%, while for the 2018 maturity, Spain placed bonds for 2,026 billion and a yield of 3,572% (from 4,123%). Lastly, for ten-year maturities, 2,435 billion securities were placed with interest rates at 4,917% against 5,202% in the previous auction. The demand for all three maturities is growing.
