Oil & Gas, Sace guarantees for 355 million dollars

Sace supports, with a loan of approximately 355 million dollars, the construction of a new integrated project for the extraction, treatment and sale of gas and derivatives by Barzan Gas Company, a joint venture between Qatar Petroleum and Exxon Mobil .

Specifically, SACE's intervention takes the form of coverage of the contracts assigned to the Italian companies involved in the project with supply contracts such as Nuovo Pignone and Cameron.

Sace's coverage is part of a very large project with a total value of over 10 billion dollars for the construction of three off-shore platforms for extraction, a pipeline system for land transport and a liquefaction plant on-shore for the treatment of extracted gas.

The new plant has an estimated production of 40 billion cubic meters per day extracted from the North Field field, the largest reserve of non-petroleum gas in the world.

Sace underlines that this operation confirms its support for large international projects in the oil & gas sector which envisage the participation of Italian companies.
