Sace is still active in supporting the oil & gas sector. As in the two operations we have accounted for in previous articles, guaranteed a 210 million dollar loan for the modernization of the Cartagena refinery in Colombia owned by the Colombian company Ecopetrol.
In this case, the coverage will guarantee the contracts for the supply of goods and services assigned to various Italian companies for the expansion and modernization of the refinery. The project carried out by Reficar (Refinerìa de Cartagena SA) has a total value of 5 billion dollars and aims to double the production capacity of the plant from 80 to 165 barrels per day.
In the press release, Sace underlines the attention dedicated to the emerging markets of Latin America and the presence on the territory, in San Paolo in Brazil, of its own office.
