The top management of Oic has been renewed, the Italian Accounting Body, with the reconfirmation of Paolo Gnes as Chairman of the Supervisory Board and Angelo Casò as Chairman of the Management Board.

The new appointments were completed today with the selection of members of the Management Board by the Supervisory Board, which took office last week. In the two organisms, which they will remain in office for the next three years, the members who were already part of it were almost entirely reconfirmed.

The Italian Accounting Organization, established in 2001 with the legal status of a foundation, issues the national accounting standards for the preparation of financial statements according to the provisions of the civil code and provides support to the activity of the Parliament and the Government in the field of accounting legislation. OIC also participates in the process of drawing up the international accounting standards adopted in Europe, maintaining relations with the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB), with the European Financial Reporting Advisory Group (EFRAG) and with the accounting bodies of other countries.
