Is called "MPS workshop” and is the new Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena project born with the aim of enhancing the growth of entrepreneurial realities with a high technological and innovative content, pursuing at the same time the strengthening of the customer experience, the improvement of company processes and the development of the commercial offer.

With “Officina Mps” we want to create a virtuous collaboration between the Bank and the digital ecosystem Italian to continuously select projects to be applied in the Bank that further accelerate the path of change that we have started».
The initiative is articulated through a selection process which envisages the presentation by the candidates of detailed projects with solutions that can be implemented within the Banca Mps business. Questions can be entered from February 1st to March 18th 2018 on the website www.officina.mps.it.
The startups and innovative SMEs identified will work side by side with selected Bank managers to identify the best ways to implement their solutions in BMPs, an opportunity for growth for all parties involved. The former will be able to test and verify the applicability of their projects in a real context, the latter will increase their skills by directly contaminating themselves with those who innovate, giving further impetus to the path of change already started by the Bank.
Startups and SMEs will develop project proposals to be applied in BMPs: the best will receive a contribution of 25.000 euros and will have the opportunity to implement their solution in the Bank.
Participation in the selection is completely free and offers the possibility of bringing out and developing new ideas and potential specifically designed for the context of Banca Mps, also by connecting startups with already consolidated companies, through a series of actions and initiatives in support of their growth.
The applications will be judged on the basis of the innovative strength in terms of distinctiveness and differentiation of the offer, the applicability, or the potential and degree of attractiveness of the projects and startups for the purpose of possible collaborations and/or partnerships with the Bank, the ability of the proposing team to manage implementation projects even in complex contexts and the ability to present the entrepreneurial initiative effectively in terms of communication.
At the end of the application presentation phase, the Bank will proceed with an initial selection of 21 startups that will participate in a dedicated event where they will be able to illustrate the main characteristics of the project and the opportunities for application in the context of BMPs. The 7 finalists will then be chosen who will have access to the next phase and will work individually in concert with MPS management to identify a concrete application of the innovation to the Bank's context with a view to "Co-planning" to be implemented quickly.
