The OECD 'super-index' stands at -0,07 in August from -0,08 in July, but continues to report a “weakening growth in most major economies” which “will continue in the coming quarters”. This was communicated by the international organization based in Paris, which underlines that the United States (-0,06) and Japan (-0,14) continue to show signs of moderate growth, while moderate growth is seen in Canada (-0,03 ).
The weakening of the economies of the Eurozone (-0,1), Germany (-0,25), France (-0,25) and Italy (-0,04) continues. In China, the 'super-index' shows slow growth (+0,01), but, explains the OECD, "there are timid signs of a stabilization of the outlook for short-term deterioration". Still weak economy in India (-0,16) and Russia (-0,3), while growth seems to resume in Brazil (+0,19) and the United Kingdom (+0,13).
