Employment: +11% jobs at the end of the year, one out of three for the under 30s

The data from the Excelsior-Unioncamere system show an increase in the jobs offered by companies in the last quarter compared to the same period of 2014 – One hiring out of three is for people under 30, one contract out of four is permanent. In Lazio, the Jubilee effect

The seasonally adjusted growth rate of labor demand rose by 10,9% compared to the fourth quarter of last year; the planned "revenues", including hiring in the strict sense and other types of contracts, are over 191 thousand; permanent contracts reach 25,4% and almost one job out of three is for the under 30s. In Lazio, the possible economic effects of the Jubilee support the expectations of businesses, which increase the jobs offered by a quarter compared to the 'last year. These are the most interesting data provided by Excelsior information system, created by Unioncamere and the Ministry of Labour, in the analysis concerning the recruitment forecasts of companies in the industry and services between October and December 2015.

Le permanent employment, in this quarter they increased by 7,3% (and by 54,7% compared to last year), reaching 25,4% of total revenues (+7,2 points the increase in the share on an annual basis). Apprenticeship and fixed-term contracts decrease, or slow down, while, among atypical contracts, temporary workers accelerate (both in industry and in services), those with VAT-registered workers regain a certain vigor (especially in services) , while the negative trend of collaboration contracts continues.

La greater confidence in the recovery, shown by companies, also translates into a wider willingness to open their doors to young people: between October and December, the recruitments expressly intended for those under 30 will be 43.900. The increase in demand for young people in the last quarter of 2015 affects both industry and services and each territorial district, with the North West registering the maximum value (34,8%) and the South which however marks the highest increase (+3,9 points compared to the end of 2014, with a share that reaches 28,9% of planned hirings).

Nin Lazio, the Jubilee effect it is felt in company hiring programmes: +24,6% the increase in expected revenues compared to last year, +16,4% compared to the third quarter. With this real leap forward, the Capital region also overtakes Lombardy in terms of performance, which "stops" at +21% on a trend basis and at +5,4% on a cyclical basis. In third place is Emilia Romagna, then Friuli Venezia Giulia and Puglia, again on a trend basis. Since the recovery of hiring has different speeds in the country (as demonstrated by the data by macro-division, with the North-West growing by 16,6% on an annual basis and the South stopping at +3,3%), the There are 6 regions in which the total revenue expected by companies is reduced compared to 2014: Marche, Calabria, Trentino Alto Adige, Umbria, Abruzzo and Sardinia.
