New record foreuro, which continues to lose ground against the dollar: the European currency has reached a 12-year low, ie a few years after its entry into force, in 1999 (exchanged in 2002). To be precise, in mid-morning the euro updated its value to 1,0734 dollars, a further drop compared to the 1,0860 dollars of yesterday's survey by the ECB.

The single European currency is it also slipped further against the yen, quoted at 130,88, i.e. at the lowest levels for about a year and a half (September 2013). Performance in the same direction for the euro-sterling cross, which slipped in mid-morning to 0,7136, which represents the new low for more than seven years (beginning of December 2007). The dollar, on the other hand, reached its eight-year high against the yen (122,02) in the morning.
