New vouchers: first yes from the High Voltage Chamber

The House Budget Commission approved the new vouchers in the first instance, limited to families, non-profit organizations and businesses with 5 employees, but the Democratic Party and the center-left split: three Orlandian deputies of the Democratic Party and the splits of the MPD voted against, rocking the government.

The new vouchers for small occasional jobs take the first step in the Chamber but make the Government wobble. The Budget Commission approved them by limiting them to families, non-profit organizations and businesses with 5 employees but split the Democratic Party and the centre-left majority. Three Orlandian deputies of the Democratic Party did not participate in the vote while the splitters of the Mdp voted against and risk rocking the government in the Senate.

19 deputies voted in favor of the new vouchers and against 6. The Renzi Pd, Ap, Ala, Civic Choice, Forza Italia and Lega sided in favor. But the battle remains open both in the Montecitorio hall and above all in the Senate where the majority is narrow.

A vote of confidence will be used but Mdp threatens not to vote for it, causing the government crisis that could sanction the premature end of the legislature. "However, I hope - said the leader of the Democratic Party, Rosato - that the Mdp will show a sense of responsibility". The next few days are decisive.
