New appointments in Assoelettrica and Assomineraria

The assemblies of the two associations renewed their positions at the top. In Assolettrica new strategic committee and general manager. In Assomineraria new president and four new entries in the Giunta.

New appointments in Assoelettrica and Assomineraria

Renewals and nominations for Assoelettrica and Assomineraria. With the establishment of the Strategic Committee, Assoelettrica has completed the renewal of its governing bodies started on 13 May. The Committee is made up of the President Simone Mori, the Vice Presidents Lucia Bormida and Roberto Potì, and the following members: Luca Alippi, Enrico Falck, Paolo Giachino, Francesco Giunti, Alberto Irace, Gianfilippo Mancini and Valentino Vascellari. The General Council then proceeded to set up three technical committees: the first dedicated to generation, both conventional and renewable, and to the wholesale market; the second to the issues of infrastructure and the retail market; the third to European policies. For the performance of their respective duties, the three Committees will avail themselves of the consultation of an Advisory Board of Regulation, set up for the purpose, in which the regulatory managers of the member companies participate.

The General Council, on the proposal of the Strategic Committee, has appointed Luigi Napoli as General Manager of the association. Nuclear engineer, married and with two children, Luigi Napoli worked in the Eni group and at Enea. 

The positions of also renewed Assomineraria. Roberto Casula is the new president. Casula is currently Chief Development, Operations & Technology Officer of Eni. The association's assembly also elected the sector presidents and renewed the executive councils, whose members form part of the association's council. Raffaele Calabrese De Feo is the new president of the mining sector. Pietro Cavanna was confirmed in the Hydrocarbons Sector and Sergio Polito in the Goods & Services Sector.

Four new entries in the Council: Marco Brun, country manager for Italy and the Adriatic countries of Shell , George Bozzola (Industrial Minerals), Marcellus De Angelis (Energy Minerals Italy) e Antonio Careddu (Saipem)

Marco Brun, Francesco Casalone, Fernanda Panvini, Roberto Pasolini, Carlo Vito Russo, Davide Usberti have joined the Hydrocarbons Board of Directors. For the mining sector: Corrado Baccani, Marco Bonansea, Giorgio Bozzola, Marcello de Angelis, Antonio Martini, Patrizia Zuppini.

For the Goods & Services Sector: Antonio Careddu Mario Colangelo, Paolo Ghirelli, Medardo Ranieri, Marco Riccoboni, Michelangelo Tortorella.
